Discover what aerosol printing can do for your direct-writing applications. The IDS NanoJet next-generation technology provides superior performance at a low cost of ownership.

IDS offers a complete desktop solution for printed electronics applications or an integrable subsystem that can be retrofitted to existing motion control platforms.

NanoJet Direct Write Printing

Direct write printed electronics enables a number of applications that have previously been restricted to cleanroom and vacuum-based technologies. The NanoJet technology enables ambient fabrication of electronic circuits for Rapid Prototyping, Direct-Write Interconnects, Multi-Material Printing, Implantable Electronics, and many other novel applications.

NanoJet Fundamentals

Aerodynamic Focusing

The NanoJet flow cell assembly consists of at least one aerodynamic lens and one converging fluid dispense nozzle. The aerodynamic lens focuses large and medium-size droplets, while the dispense nozzle collimates and focuses small droplets.

NanoJet Origin

NanoJet was developed from a licensed Sandia National Laboratories technology and uses multiple aerodynamic lens to collimate a distribution of droplet sizes to produce printed lines with little or no overspray. Each aerodynamic lens collimates sequentially smaller droplets within the collimated jet to produce exceptional printed line edge quality.

NanoJet Inks

IDS uses commercially-available electronic inks to provide direct-write solutions for various electronic printing applications.
