Continuing with our mission of making user-friendly aerosol printers with industrial level stability, IDS is pleased to announce the release of IDS Focus 2.3. Focus is the control software for the NanoJet Gen2 line of printers, and it includes datalogging, recipe management, automatic leak testing, and error detection all as part of an integrated, easy to use interface.
The Focus 2 release is a significant upgrade that allows the simultaneous control of two NanoJet printers. The upgrade allows customers with either Subsystem or FreeStanding (FS) printers to rapidly switch between materials for multi-material prints. The full suite of controls remains available for both printheads including datalogging, pressure graphing, and pressure testing. The release also includes a variety of usability improvements. The shutter vent timing is now moved to the main interface for easy access. Datalogging is improved with better reporting of printer name and serial number and protection from external modification while running. These new features, along with various other small improvements to the interface, continue to make the NanoJet line of aerosol printers easy to use and accessible for both research and manufacturing.
